Coming Soon!

Jonny and I have been hitting Oviedo Skatepark up quite a bit lately to film a little montage for the USS site. Chances are if you are a regular at the park, you’ve seen us up there. The footage is looking good, and should be up on the site soon. Be on the lookout, Jonny has been killing it!

Featuring Orlando talent including Ryan O’Connor, Bert Wootton, Andrew Nedimyer, as well as South Florida favorites including Ben Gore, Brad Cromer, Cody Lucas, and more. Type any of these guys’ names in a youtube search and you will for sure want to see more. DVDs will be for sale at the premiere for $10. If you can’t make it out to the premiere, copies are for sale at RIPNDIPclothing.com and SouthSkate.com, and will hopefully be available at all your local shops soon. MIND FIELD

Better than Fully Flared?! I’ll let you be the judge on that one. In my opinion this is the best video to come out from a major skate company in the past 4 or 5 years. We’ll have the vid in the shop this Wednesday, but until then here’s a little review on what I thought after watching it about 6 times in a row (that should give you a clue how sick it is). Alien has always had the illest concepts and ideas as long as I have been skating, and has always been one of my favorite companies. Since they were bought out by Burton snowboards, the opening of their AWS store in downtown LA, and the majority of their team became west coast riders, I got pretty put off by Alien. Then, Mind Field helped me remember exactly how sick Alien still is. With stand out parts from Omar Salazar, Jake Johnson, Dylan Rieder, Anthony Van Engelen, and Jason Dill the video was worth the buy. Then they have newcomers Grant Taylor and Tyler Bledsoe who kill it just as much. Then to have Arto Saari and Heath Kirchart skating the biggest, well everything, so smoothly, just makes a super well rounded video. Or in other words, something for everybody. Trust me kids, this video is worth the buy.
