Little Jonny
Jonny Scianneaux has been coming by the shop for quite some time. If you’re a part of the Orlando skate scene, there is no doubt that you’ve heard his name pop up here or there this past year or so. You have most likely seen “Little Jonny” at Oviedo Park, or one of Orlando’s few other skateparks, probably killing it. If he wasn’t killing it while you were watching, trust me, he kills it. He is one of the few kids who made the transition from “river-rat” to talented street skater, destroying dudes in games of S.K.A.T.E. and Orlando spots along the way. As someone who isn’t very easily impressed, it took a while for me to come around to the thought of having Jonny ride for USS. Within the past 6 months it is pretty unbelievable how much a 9th grader can progress, and how quickly he can see a new trick and learn it. Seeing this happen has made me psyched to have Jonny on the team. Also now, whenever he beats me in skate, I can threaten to kick him off the team.
